|Great economical choice,
This is a simple, accurate, indoor outdoor thermometer. The outdoor sensor is neat and appear water tight.
The indoor display (with integral sensor) is easy to read and small enough to be unobtrusive.
Before rating, I checked accuracy with three regular thermometers and an extremely sensitive/accurate Casio Pathfinder. This device got A+ for both consistency and reliability.

|It’s okay, smaller than I expected, and more cheaply made,
I guess I didn’t look at the product description closely enough. I thought it would be bigger.
The numbers are not readable from across the room, and I have 20/15 eye sight.
It is a little flimsier than I expected.
The outside sensor has a pretty wimpy rubber gasket that is a couple millimeters thick to protect the battery from water damage. I installed it under an eave, rather than out in the open since I don’t think it will withstand the weather damage. The cover to the outside sensor is a push-and-click type, which is nice, that I don’t have to find a screwdriver to open it, but it doesn’t seem very water tight to me.
The outside sensor failed on the second day, when it was 24 degrees out. After the batteries warmed up inside it started working again, so maybe I’ll need the lithium batteries like they suggest.
Though today, it is 14 degrees out, and the sensor is working fine, so I’m not quite sure what that is about.
It is an okay product, and most thermometers have pretty poor reviews, so perhaps this better than some of them. My wife says our previous Oregon Scientific worked fine for a couple years, and it has only been the last year or two that it was flaky, so maybe I’ll have to go back to Oregon Scientific.
